Micro Moulds Plastics

Our workshop is located in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at the GIDL Estate, unit C-206. If you have ever spent time in Peenya, you know it is just a huge grid of factories and small shops. Micro Moulds Plastics is right in the middle of it all. The air inside usually has that smell of warm plastic and grease from the machines. We spend our entire day around the injection machines and the racks where the parts cool down. It can get very hot, especially during the summer when the sun beats down on the metal roof of the shed. We have bags of plastic pellets stacked up in one corner and boxes of finished goods in another. There really isn't any room for decoration or anything like that. We just have our heavy workbenches and the tools we need to keep the machines running. Most of us have been here so long that we can tell if a machine has a problem just by listening to the sound it makes while it runs. We usually take our small breaks together near the main shutter just to get some air. The estate is always crowded with small trucks and lorries picking up stuff to deliver. It is a bit of a gritty place, and you can't really keep your clothes clean for very long here. We don't have a front desk or anyone to greet you. If someone stops by, they usually just find us working on the floor. It is just basic work.
