Meridian Market Industries

Our business, Meridian Market Industries, is situated at 397 on West Chord Road. To be specific, we’re in the 3rd Phase of the 2nd Stage in Manjunath Nagar. It’s a long address to write out every time. The area is always buzzing with activity, especially with all the small industries lined up along 1st B Main. Our space isn't much to look at from the outside. It’s a functional building where we store a lot of inventory. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to reach the stuff at the top. We spend most of our mornings just organizing whatever came in on the trucks. It’s a lot of manual labor and it keeps us busy until lunch. The office is just a tiny corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s covered in notes and old catalogs. We don’t have air conditioning, so we just keep the big front shutters open for a breeze. Sometimes the dust from West Chord Road blows in, but we just wipe it off and keep going. We’ve had the same few guys working here for a long time, so we all know how things are supposed to run. We don’t go in for anything fancy or promotional. We just handle the market side of things and make sure the goods get where they need to go.
