Mercure

The building is called Baba Nilaya, and you can find Mercure on Nrupthunga Road in T.Dharashilli. Bangalore is a big place, but this little corner feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We run things here without too much fuss. It's number 953 on the street, so if you're driving past, keep an eye out for the sign because it can be a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean and making sure everything is where it should be for whoever comes through the door. Sometimes the water pressure acts up, but we know which pipes to jiggle to get it flowing again. It's not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. It's more of a local spot where we deal with people face to face every day. Our staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. We don't have a big fancy lobby with marble floors, but we have chairs that are actually comfortable to sit in while you wait. The morning starts early here, usually with someone sweeping the front or checking the mail. We’ve seen the area grow quite a bit, but we just stay focused on what we’re doing right here in the building. It can get a bit noisy when the buses go past, but otherwise, it’s a fairly quiet spot to get things done. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people find us because they live around here or someone told them about us.
