Meenakshi Beauty Parlour & Boutique

We are located at Apsara Villa, which is No. 665 on 17th D Cross in Indira Nagar 2nd Stage, Bangalore. It’s a bit of a unique spot because we aren't just a beauty parlour; we also have a boutique. It’s right near the Lakshmipura Bus Stop and the Sleepwell Gallery. Being in a villa gives it a bit more of a homey feel than a shop in a mall. We’ve got clothes hanging on one side and the parlour chairs on the other. It’s often a bit messy with fabric scraps or hair clips, but that’s just how we work. Most of our clients are women from the local Bangalore neighborhood who want a new outfit or a quick haircut. CMH Road is very close, so it’s a busy area, but our street is a little tucked away. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The atmosphere is very casual. You might find us sipping tea while waiting for a customer. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us doing the sewing and the styling. It’s a lot of hard work keeping both the boutique and the parlour going at once. We like the variety of it, though. One minute we are measuring someone for a blouse, and the next we are doing a facial. It’s a busy life here in Indira Nagar, but it’s our little corner of the city.
