Mecon Ltd

Down in Erode, we are set up at 42/90 on Avvaiyar Street within Teachers Colony. It’s a much quieter vibe here compared to the big city offices. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so you see a lot of people going about their daily lives while we are inside working. This branch of Mecon Ltd feels a bit more like a local spot because we all know each other pretty well. The building is older, with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that have been there forever. We don't really go for the polished, modern look. It’s more about having enough space for all our blueprints and project files. Most days, it’s just the sound of the ceiling fans and the occasional motorbike passing by on the street outside. We deal with a lot of technical stuff, mostly related to local projects and industrial work. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think. We take our tea breaks together, usually talking about the weather or whatever is happening in town. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their desk to see what you need. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We’ve been here in Tamilnadu for quite a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the slow, steady pace of things in this part of Erode.
