Maya

Maya is located right there on the 100 Feet Ring Road in the 3rd Stage area near Mahathma Gandhi Road. It’s a very busy corner of the city. We’re at number 99. The traffic never really stops outside, so there’s always a bit of a hum in the background. We’ve been here for a bit, serving whoever stops by. It’s a mix of people—commuters, locals living in the apartments nearby, and sometimes folks who are just passing through and need a place to sit for a minute. The interior is pretty basic. We have some chairs and tables that have seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us who handle everything from taking orders to cleaning up. The menu isn’t anything you’d find in a glossy magazine. It’s just food we like to eat. We have our busy times where it feels like every seat is taken, and then there are the quiet hours in the mid-afternoon where it’s just the sound of the fan overhead. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. People just seem to find us. It’s a decent spot to watch the world go by through the front window while you have something to eat. We just keep things running day by day. We aren't trying to be fancy, just useful to the neighborhood and the people who live around here.
