Masanagudi Resort

Even though our name is Masanagudi Resort, we are actually located right in Bangalore at 35 / 8 Hosur Road. We are on T H Kataria Road, which is very close to St Joseph Commerce College. It’s a bit of a confusing name for some people because Masanagudi is a different place altogether, but we’ve just stuck with it. Our building is in a very busy part of the 560034 area. There are always students walking around and a lot of traffic on Hosur Road. We provide rooms for people who need a place to stay in the city. It’s a functional building, not a luxury resort with a pool or anything like that. We spend a lot of our time on maintenance, like fixing leaky taps or making sure the rooms are tidy. It’s a small operation run by a few of us. We don't have a big reception desk or a concierge. It’s more of a walk-in kind of place. Some people stay for a night while they are in town for an exam at the college, and others stay longer for work. The street outside can be very noisy with all the buses and cars, but we try to keep the inside as quiet as we can. We don't do any big marketing campaigns. We just rely on being in a good spot where people need lodging. It’s a simple business and we just take it one day at a time.
