Maruthi Plastic

We’ve been running Maruthi Plastic here in Yeshwantpur 24 for quite a while now. Most days it’s just us sorting through the bins, containers, and all kinds of plastic items people need for their homes or shops. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular spot where you can find buckets, chairs, or those small storage boxes that always seem to go missing. The shop gets a bit crowded sometimes with stacks of stock reaching the ceiling. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, there’s plastic everywhere. People from around the neighborhood drop by, mostly looking for something specific like a heavy-duty mug or a new water drum. We know the regulars by name and usually know what they're looking for before they even ask. Yeshwantpur is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on getting the right stuff to the people who walk in. It’s hard work, especially when the heat gets bad and the plastic smell is strong, but it’s what we do. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings over a few cups and we sit for five minutes before the next customer comes looking for a specific size of PVC pipe or a kitchen rack. It’s a simple life, keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the shop stays open until late evening.
