Marss Live Painting

Start with the location. Marss Live Painting is over here at No.5 Vidyaranyapura, right off Andheri Link Road. We’ve been around this part of town for a while now. Most people find us because they're already in the area. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. When we started, we didn't really have a big plan, we just wanted to get to work and do some painting. It’s mostly just us doing what we know. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our gear and meet folks who need something painted. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s pretty quiet. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word usually gets around through people who live nearby or pass by on the main road. If you're coming from the link road, it’s not too hard to find. We try to be fair with how we do things. It's a lot of manual work and long hours, but that's how it goes when you run a small business. We deal with all kinds of walls and surfaces every day. The paint gets everywhere, on our clothes and hands, but we don't mind much. It’s just how the job is. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New buildings go up and old ones get fixed. We're just glad to be a small part of it.
