Mari Sharanam Granites

Mari Sharanam Granites is based out in Anekal at number 15. It is a large open space because you need a lot of room for granite. We have big slabs of stone leaning against each other all over the yard. The office itself is just a small building on the side where we keep the books and take calls. It’s often quite dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up around Anekal. We spend most of our time walking around the yard with customers showing them the different patterns in the rock. It’s heavy material, so there is always a crane or a forklift moving somewhere nearby. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in the office, just a couple of fans that do their best to keep us cool. Most of the guys here have been working with stone for a long time and have the callouses to prove it. Anekal is a bit far out, but it’s the right place for this kind of work. We aren’t into big sales pitches. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. Sometimes we sit outside on the stone blocks during our lunch break. It’s a very grounded way to spend a workday. We’ve been at number 15 for years and the locals know us well. It’s just a granite yard doing its business day in and day out without much fuss.
