We are located over at 906 Prakash Nagar, right in the heart of the Bangalore Industrial Estate. It is a noisy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. Our place is basically full of stone slabs and a bit of dust, which is pretty normal for this kind of work. We spend most of our time moving things around and checking the stock we have on hand. It is heavy work, and our hands are usually a bit rough from handling the material day in and day out. We aren't much for office décor; the slabs do most of the talking here. People come by looking for specific patterns or just to see what we have on the floor. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons under the shed roof, but we just keep the fans going. We have been in this spot for a good bit now, and we know most of the other shop owners around the estate. It is a practical business. No one wears suits here. We just show you what is available and tell you the price. Sometimes the stock changes fast, other times we wait for the next load to arrive from the quarries. It is honest work. If you find yourself in Prakash Nagar, you will see our gates open. We just keep at it, making sure the stone gets where it needs to go without any fuss or unnecessary delays.
