Marble & Granite Works

We spend most of our days here on U.M. Road, right across from the Edga in Sanjay Nagar. It’s a busy spot. We handle a lot of heavy stones. Marble and granite are what we do every day. People come by looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors. It gets quite dusty in the yard because of the cutting and polishing. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some days are busier than others with trucks coming in and out. The slabs are heavy, so there's always a lot of moving things around. It’s hard work but it’s what we know. If you walk past the Edga, you’ll see the pieces lined up outside. We usually have someone here during the day to answer questions about the different types of stone we have in stock. The Sanjay Nagar area is pretty crowded, so finding space for the bigger pieces of granite is always a bit of a puzzle. We try to keep things organized but with stone work, it's always a bit of a mess. It’s just how the job is. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just the workshop where the work gets done. Most people who live around here know where we are. We just keep our heads down and get the cutting done for whatever project is next. It’s noisy when the machines are running, but that's just the sound of work being done. We just keep going.
