Maratha Marbles

Our place is inside Raheja Residency in Koramangala. It's not a big warehouse like some others you might see on the outskirts. We handle the marble business from here in B-604. Koramangala is always crowded, so getting in and out can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but we've been here for a good bit. We talk to a lot of people about their home renovations. Marbles are a big part of what we discuss. It’s mostly about coordinating orders and making sure the right materials get to the construction sites. Since we are in a residential block, it's a bit quieter than a factory floor. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at samples. The work involves a lot of detail because people are very particular about how their floors look. We see all kinds of patterns and shades coming through. It's interesting how one slab can look so different from another. We don't do the heavy cutting here, obviously, because of where we are located. It's more about the management side of things and meeting with clients who live nearby. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to ask about what we do. It’s a nice enough spot, though parking in Koramangala is always a bit of a gamble. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders that come in every week. It's mostly just regular office work centered around stone.
