Mamatha Granite

Mamatha Granite is located at 230, Survey No 137 2 in Tavarekere. We are situated right at Vande Mataram Chowk. Our yard is usually full of different types of granite slabs. It’s a very practical place, mostly outdoors, so we are at the mercy of the weather. We spend our days moving heavy stones and cutting them to the sizes people ask for. It’s a dusty and loud environment, but that’s the nature of working with stone. We aren't a high-end boutique. We are a working granite yard where we do the heavy lifting ourselves. We have been in Tavarekere for many years now and we know the business well. There are only a few of us working here, so we handle everything from unloading the trucks to talking to the customers. We don't have a fancy office or a polished showroom. People just come to the yard and look through the stacks to find a color or pattern they like. Sometimes the edges of the stone are rough and we have to sand them down. It’s hard work and our clothes are always covered in stone dust by evening. We don't use any complicated sales tactics. We just show what we have in stock and tell people the price. It’s a simple and honest way to run things.
