Indian Trade Links

We've been at No. 21/36 on 3rd Cross in Mysore for some time now. It’s right in the middle of B.T.M. Layout 1st Stage. Most days start with opening up the shutters and checking the mail. The 7th A Main Road gets pretty busy around noon, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. Indian Trade Links is just a small setup, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We have a couple of desks, some filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a lot of paperwork. It is a practical space for what we do. Mysore has a different pace than bigger cities, and we like it that way. You can hear the traffic from the main road, but the 3rd Cross itself stays relatively quiet most of the time. We know the neighbors around here, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Sometimes the power goes out, or the delivery truck gets stuck because the road is narrow, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest outfit around, just trying to keep things moving steadily from our spot here. There is always something to organize or a phone call to return. If you walk down the 7th A Main, you will find us easily enough. It is just a regular place where work gets done day in and day out without much fuss.
