Mahindra Satyam

Over at No 45-47 in Ele City Phase-2, that’s where you’ll find our Mahindra Satyam office. It’s a pretty large building compared to some of the others in the neighborhood. We have a lot of people coming in and out every day, mostly engineers and support staff who are trying to keep various systems running. Electronic City is always moving, so there is a constant hum of activity both inside and outside the walls. We don't really go for anything too flashy in the office layout, it's mostly rows of cubicles and meeting rooms that see a lot of use. People here are busy with their tasks, whether it's fixing a technical glitch or planning out a new project for a client. We aren't big on talking ourselves up, we just try to meet the deadlines that get set. The traffic around Phase-2 can be a real pain during the morning rush, so many of us show up early just to avoid the worst of it. We have a cafeteria that isn't half bad, which is where most of the actual talking happens. It’s a lot of technical work and managing data, which can be dry but it’s what we do. We don't make big promises, we just show up, do the hours, and try to make sure the software does its job for the people using it. It's a lot of work but we manage.
