Maheshwari Granites

Maheshwari Granites is situated at 31, Bannerghtta Road. If you know this part of town, you know the traffic is always something else. The road is constantly moving with cars and buses, and we sit right there with our stacks of stone. Being on such a main road means we get a lot of dust from the street mixed with the dust from our own cutting. It’s a loud place to work, honestly. We spend a lot of time just organizing the slabs so we can actually see what we have in the yard. Sometimes the place feels too small for all the granite we try to keep there. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting. We mostly just talk about the work and what needs to get loaded onto the next vehicle. It’s a simple routine. We start early before the sun gets too high because the stone gets way too hot to touch. Sometimes a customer stops by because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just the yard and the office. We write everything down in the books and try to stay organized. It’s not always easy with so many pieces moving in and out every week. Bannerghatta Road is a busy place to be, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just do the work, move the stone, and go home.
