If you have ever walked down Avenue Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people pushing past. We are right there at 345, right in the thick of it. Our shop, Mahadev Plastic & Stationers, is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We’ve got pens, notebooks, plastic containers, and everything else you’d expect in a place like this. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the students and office folks who come by. The morning starts with us dusting the shelves and getting the displays ready. Avenue Road Avenue Road 345 has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. It’s noisy, dusty, and there’s always someone asking for a specific kind of folder or a bulk order of water bottles. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure customers find what they need quickly. We spend a lot of time counting items and marking prices. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy from morning till the shutters go down at night. Sometimes we drink tea on the doorstep while watching the crowd. People know us for being here at number 345, and we just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, selling plastics and paper. It’s just how things go for us on this busy street every day.
