Magti Marbles & Granite

We've been at the Manipal Centre on Dickenson Road for quite a while now. If you're looking for us, we are right near Bhima Jewellery. It’s a busy spot but it works for getting the stones in and out. Magti Marbles & Granite is basically just us working with heavy slabs every day. We handle a lot of different types of granite and marble. It gets pretty dusty here when we are cutting things down to size. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting into S607 because of the traffic on the main road. We just get on with the work. People come by to see the patterns in the stone before they decide what they want for their floors or counters. It’s heavy work, moving these pieces around so people can get a good look. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where the materials are kept. My hands are usually covered in stone dust by the end of the afternoon. We see a lot of folks coming in from the nearby shops just to ask about prices. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep the stock organized as best as we can in the space we have. The sun hits the front of the building in the morning and makes the marble look really bright. We’ve been through a lot of rainy seasons here, keeping the slabs dry and ready. It’s just what we do.
