Madura Garments

Our shop is Madura Garments and we’re tucked away in the Kormangala Industrial Layout. Specifically, we are at No. 110 on the 4th Cross in the 5th Block. If you know Bangalore, you know how Koramangala can get with the traffic and the maze of streets. The industrial layout is a bit quieter than the main shopping areas, which is nice for actually getting work done. We spend most of our time dealing with heaps of fabric and keeping the machines running. It’s not a showroom where everything is on display with bright lights. It's more of a working floor. The 4th cross is a bit narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the walls have a few scuffs from moving boxes around, but it’s a good space. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure the garments get finished. Some days are louder than others depending on what’s being made. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things moving. It’s just a regular local business in a busy industrial part of town. We don't go for any of that polished talk. We just like to keep our heads down and finish the orders that come in. It’s home for us during the work week and we like the routine we have established here.
