Madina Hotel

Madina Hotel is located in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar 2. It’s a straightforward kind of place where people come when they’re hungry and want something fast. We don’t have fancy tablecloths or a big staff. It’s just a few of us making sure things run. The building itself is quite plain, and we have the name painted on the front. We open up pretty early to catch the people heading out for their day. The kitchen is always busy, and there’s a lot of steam and noise coming from the pots. We have some benches and tables where people sit together; it’s not really a place for private conversations. Most of the customers are regulars from the RT Nagar area. They know what they want before they even sit down. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant battle with the dust from the street. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. Sometimes we run out of things early if it’s a particularly busy day. It’s just a local spot where you can get a meal without any fuss. We’ve been at this location for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. We just keep doing what we do. When the dinner rush is over, we close the shutters and get ready to start again the next morning.
