Madhuram Tiles

Madhuram Tiles is sitting right on Dr. Rajkumar Road in Rajajinagar 1st Block. It’s at No.135. We have tile samples all over the place, leaning against the walls and stacked in piles on the floor. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when you walk in. We’ve been at this location for a good while, seeing the neighborhood change quite a lot around us. People coming in are usually looking to renovate their kitchens or bathrooms, so they spend a lot of time touching the tiles and looking at the different patterns under the lights. We don't have a big sales team; it’s usually just one of us helping out. The lighting in the shop could be better, but we try to show the tiles in the natural sunlight near the front door so people can see the real color before they buy. It’s a heavy job, moving these crates around, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. We aren't a big showroom with air conditioning and coffee machines. We’re just a local tile shop. We try to be honest about what we have in stock and how long it’ll take to get more from the factories. Sometimes the deliveries are late, which is frustrating for everyone, but we do our best to let folks know. It’s a straightforward business. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the locals to drop in.
