Madhu Granites

Madhu Granites sits at 110 Whitefield on Sinhagad Road. We are right near Groups Field, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. We have heaps of stone slabs and tiles sitting out in the yard. It gets pretty dusty when we are cutting the granite to size. People come by when they are building their houses or fixing up a kitchen. It’s heavy work moving these slabs around all day. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. It’s just the yard and a small desk where we write down the orders. We’ve been here a while and seen a lot of houses go up in this area. Sometimes the trucks coming in to drop off new stock block the road for a minute, but everyone is used to it. We deal with different types of stone, mostly local stuff. It is just me and a few helpers who do the heavy lifting. We use some old saws that make a lot of noise. Rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we still keep going. We don't do big advertisements. Most people just see the stacks of stone from the road and stop their cars. It’s a simple business. We spend most of our day outside in the sun. The edges of the stone can be sharp, so we have to be careful. We just provide the materials that people need for their floors and counters without any extra fuss or fancy talk.
