M R Sampath

M R Sampath is a small place located at 13 Kamanahalli Main Road. If you know the area, you know how loud and crowded it gets during the evenings. Our shop sits right on the main stretch where all the buses and bikes go past. It’s not a very big space, and sometimes the front door sticks a little when it rains. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the different shops around us change names and owners. Inside, things are a bit cluttered with folders and old ledgers that we still use. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to do. It is usually just one or two of us sitting here handling whatever comes through the door. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise that you get used to after ten minutes. People from the neighborhood stop by mostly because they know where we are. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. Kamanahalli has changed a lot since we first opened, but our building stays mostly the same. Sometimes we get the morning sun through the front window and it makes the dust show up on the shelves. We just clean it off and keep going with the day's tasks. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us and the people who live nearby.
