M B Plastics

Our small factory, M B Plastics, is tucked away in Jolly Mohalla, over in Butte Patil Nager. We’re at number 58. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the truck drivers know the way. The machines run most of the day, making that steady humming sound that you eventually stop hearing. We mostly make basic plastic items like containers, parts for other things, and that kind of stuff. It’s not glamorous work. It’s hot inside, especially during the summer, and the smell of melting plastic is always there. Back when we didn't have much else to do, a friend and I started this place. Now we have a few guys working for us who live nearby. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to get the orders done on time and make sure the items are good enough that people don't complain. The floor is usually covered in little plastic scraps, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a front office, so visitors usually just walk right into the middle of the work floor. It’s a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We’ve had the same neighbors for ten years, and we all look out for each other. It’s a tough business sometimes, but it’s ours. We just take it one day at a time.
