Life Insurance Corporatin Of India. We are right on Mahathma Gandhi Road, inside the Oriental Building on the 1st floor. Most days it is pretty busy around here. You can hear the traffic from the street below even when the windows are shut. We spend a lot of time going through folders and helping people figure out their paperwork. It is an old building, but it has a lot of character. We have been here a while now. Some folks come in just to ask questions about their old policies or to update a phone number. We have a few desks set up and chairs for people to wait. Sometimes the printer acts up, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. The staff mostly knows each other well. We eat lunch together sometimes when it isn’t too crowded with visitors. It is a standard office life. MG Road is always packed, especially in the evenings when everyone is leaving work. Getting up to the first floor is easy, just a short flight of stairs. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long, but insurance stuff just takes time. There are a lot of forms to fill out and signatures to check. It is just what we do every day. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are in a hurry and some just want to sit and talk for a bit.
