Le Meridien Bangalore

We’ve been at 28 Sankey Road for a good while now. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic picking up outside near the golf course. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore, and our building stays pretty active throughout the day. You’ll see the staff coming in early, some grabbing a quick tea before the shift really kicks off. We spend a lot of time making sure the lobby looks right and that people find where they need to go. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow when everyone’s checking out at once, but we manage. Bangalore weather helps, especially when it’s cool in the evenings and the trees around the property are rustling. It’s not just about rooms and beds for us; it’s about the daily routine of keeping this large place running. We have people from all over stopping by, some for work and some just passing through. It gets loud in the kitchen around lunchtime, which you can sometimes smell from the hallways. We don’t really do the fancy speeches here, we just focus on the tasks at hand. Whether it's fixing a leaky tap or sorting out a booking error, there’s always something to do. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here on the corner. It’s just how things go, really. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the schedule without too much fuss.
