Laxmi Granites & Marble

Our place is located over at Plot No.71 in the Jigani Industrial Area. If you know the area, you know Kallubalu Road gets pretty busy with trucks and workers all day long. Laxmi Granites & Marble is basically just a large lot where we keep all our stock. It’s not a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the small office area. Living and working in Jigani means dealing with a lot of noise and dust, but that’s just how it is in an industrial zone. We handle a lot of granite and marble slabs every day. Sometimes a shipment comes in and we have to scramble to find space for it. Other times, we are just waiting for a customer to come by and pick out what they need for their house. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving those heavy pieces around with the crane. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. People find us because they are already in the industrial area looking for materials. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just a few of us here making sure the orders go out and the slabs are cut right. The rain makes the yard a bit muddy sometimes, but the work doesn't stop. We just keep the gates open and wait for the next truck to pull in. We mostly just drink our tea and get back to work.
