We are over at 622 Koramangala VI Block, right in the Sahakar Nagar area. If you’re looking for our place, we are quite close to the big water tank, which everyone around here knows quite well. Dealing with marble and granite is heavy work, so our place is more of a yard and a warehouse than a fancy office. There is usually a bit of dust in the air and the sound of heavy stone being moved around by the guys. We have slabs of all different kinds leaning against the walls in the yard. It’s a lot of physical labor, loading and unloading the trucks that come in from the quarries early in the morning. The water tank is a good marker because the streets can get a bit confusing in this part of Koramangala if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here for a while, and the whole neighborhood has grown up around us over the years. Most days involve measuring stones and talking to builders or people who are busy fixing up their own houses. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or air conditioning in the back office. It’s practical and honest work with natural materials. We spend a lot of time outside or in the open sheds. The sun can get really hot in the middle of the day, but that’s just how it is. If you need some stone for a floor or a counter, this is where we keep it.
