Our spot is over in the Bommasandra Industrial Area at 247/A-4. It is an industrial zone, so it is not exactly quiet around here. There is always the sound of trucks reversing or the hum of big machines from the units next door. We have been in this space for a good while now and the walls have definitely seen better days. The paint is a bit stained from the work we do, but that shows we are actually busy. Most of our day is spent handling energy equipment and checking on stock. It gets pretty dusty inside, especially when the wind kicks up from the main road. We keep a small kettle in the corner for tea because the days can get long when we are waiting on deliveries or finishing up a specific order. The neighbors at the other units are mostly alright, we all just stay busy with our own things. It is a practical setup without any bells or whistles. You won't find any fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the back. We just focus on the batteries and power systems we handle. People find us because they know the unit number and they know we are usually here from dawn until the street lights come on. It is a straightforward way to make a living and we are used to the grit of the area by now.
