You can find Akarsh Vashash Impex at No. 5 in the Shailaja Somanna Complex. We are located in Kempaiah Layout, which falls under the Vidyaranyapura Post. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the center of town, but it’s a good spot for us. The complex has a few other businesses, so there’s a bit of a community vibe in the building. Our office is a straightforward space where we handle the impex side of things. We aren't big on decorations or making the place look like a showroom. It’s mostly desks, some storage for files, and the usual office equipment. We spend our days coordinating shipments and talking to customs agents or transport companies. Singapura is a growing area, so we’ve seen a lot of changes since we started here. The roads have gotten better lately, but the traffic has definitely increased. We like the fact that we can just focus on the work without too much noise from the main roads. We don't have a huge team, just a few people who have been together for a while and know how everything works. It’s not a fancy life, but we like the independence of running our own export and import operations from this little corner of the city. Every day is a bit different depending on which shipments are moving. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied. We usually grab tea together downstairs.
