Keshav Granites

We are based at R.S. No. 34/2, A-B, Nattarmangalam. It’s part of the Kalimangalam Post area on the Shivagangai Road in Madurai. Being out on the Shivagangai Road means we have a bit more space than some of the shops in the middle of the city. Keshav Granites is where we spend all our time. Madurai weather can be pretty punishing, especially when you are working around all that stone that holds the heat. Our yard is quite large, which is good because granite takes up a lot of room. We get trucks coming in at odd hours with new material, and unloading them is always a big job. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just do the work. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something specific for their flooring or kitchen counters. We show them what we’ve got in the current batch and tell them how it is. Sometimes the colors vary from one slab to the next because that’s just how granite is made. We don't try to sugarcoat things. If a slab has a vein or a spot, we point it out. It’s a very manual life, mostly involving lifting, cutting, and moving. We have been in Nattarmangalam for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us on the road. It’s just a regular stone yard run by people who work hard every day.
