Aisha Imports & Exports

We operate Aisha Imports & Exports out of D. No. 1/98 in Kattavaripalli. That’s in the Rajampet area of Kadapa district. It’s quite different from working in a big city like Bengaluru or Hyderabad. Here, things move at a slightly different pace, but the work is just as busy. We handle both imports and exports, so we are always looking at what’s coming in and what needs to go out. The building we use is just a standard local structure, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time dealing with local farmers or suppliers from the surrounding areas. Kadapa can get really hot, especially in the summer months, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun is too high. Being in a place like Kattavaripalli means we know everyone around us. It’s more about personal connections and keeping your word than it is about big contracts and legal teams. We have a small office where we keep our logs and records. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a few hours, but we just work around it like everyone else does. It’s a practical, down-to-earth business. We are just trying to help move goods from our part of the world to other places and bring things in that people here need. It's a simple life, but the work is steady and keeps us busy. We really like the community vibe here and staying in this area.
