We’re located out on the Bangalore-Pune Highway, specifically at P.B. No-5531. If you’ve ever driven that stretch of road, you’ve probably passed by Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Limited without thinking much about it. It’s a large site, and there’s always a lot going on with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place has a history that goes back quite a ways. The buildings are old-fashioned, built for work rather than looking pretty. There’s a specific smell in the air around here—not a bad one, just the smell of what we’re making that day. It sticks to your clothes after a while. Most of the people working here have been part of the team for decades, and they know the equipment better than anyone. We don’t have a lot of those modern office perks you hear about. We have a canteen that serves decent food and a lot of space to move around. It’s a busy place, and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit backed up, but we eventually get through it. We just focus on keeping the production lines moving. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of regular people doing their jobs along the highway. We don't try to be anything we aren't, we just focus on the day's tasks.
