N S Domestic Help

N S Domestic Help is located at #135 in HSR Layout. We basically run a small office where we connect people who need help at home with people looking for work. It’s a lot of sitting around and talking to people about what they need, whether it’s cooking, cleaning, or taking care of kids. HSR is a big area, so there’s always someone looking for help. We don't have a big corporate structure or any regional managers. It’s just us trying to make sure everyone is happy with the arrangement. We keep a lot of notebooks with names and numbers. It can get a bit disorganized when it's busy, but we manage to keep track of things in our own way. We aren't a big fancy agency. We just know a lot of people in the community. Sometimes a worker leaves and we have to find a replacement quickly, which can be a bit of a scramble. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We don't use any polished sales pitches. We just tell you who is available and what they can do. People usually just walk into the office or call us based on a recommendation from a neighbor. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our toes every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone. The office is small but it's enough for what we do. We've been in this spot for a while now and people know where to find us.
