Kanak Granites

Kanak Granites is set up on the 100Ft Road within the Jigani Industrial Area. Our specific location is Plot No. -55/514/10/11 in the Anekal Taluka region. Being on the 100Ft Road means there is a constant stream of traffic and heavy trucks moving past our yard. We have a lot of granite slabs standing in rows throughout the plot. Most of our day is spent outdoors, either checking the stones or helping load them onto vehicles for transport. It’s a very noisy and industrial place to be. You can always hear the sound of saws cutting stone or the hum of the polishing machines from nearby shops. Dust is a constant companion here; it covers the slabs and our clothes by the end of the shift. We have a small shed on the property where we keep our records and take our breaks when the sun is too much. It’s not a quiet or polished environment, but it’s where the real work of the granite business happens. People come to us from all over because Jigani is such a well-known hub for stone. We show them the different colors and patterns we have in the yard. Some slabs are rough and others are polished smooth. We don't do a lot of talking or sales pitches. We just let people look at the stone and decide for themselves. It’s heavy, dusty work that keeps us busy all day.
