You have to head up to the 1st floor to find us here at Survey No. 55 & 56. It’s not a ground-floor shop where people just wander in off the street, so it’s a bit quieter up here. We spend most of our hours surrounded by fabric and the sound of work going on. Harshita Garments Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle the production side of things. There’s usually a lot of thread on the floor and stacks of cut pieces waiting to be put together. The light comes in through the windows pretty well in the mornings, which helps when we're looking at the colors. We’ve got a few people working the machines and others checking the finished pieces for loose ends. It’s practical work. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just find us at a desk or near the cutting table. The survey number can be a little tricky for delivery drivers to find the first time, but they get used to it. We keep our coffee mugs on the side tables and just get on with the day's list. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but that’s how you get things done. We’ve been in this space for a bit and it works for what we need to do. It’s just a workspace where we make things happen. We don't worry about decorations or fancy furniture, we just focus on the orders and making sure everything is stitched properly.
