K P Granite Works

We are K P Granite Works, located at 825 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are pretty close to the Bapod Jakat Naka area. If you have ever been around this part of town, you have probably driven past us. There is usually a lot of stone and granite slabs leaning against the walls outside. It is heavy work, moving those pieces around every day. We get quite a bit of dust everywhere, but that is just how it is when you are cutting and polishing stone. Our setup is simple. We have the yard where the big stuff stays and a small office for when we need to talk to customers or look at plans. People from the neighborhood come by when they are doing up their kitchens or floors. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just show them what we have in the yard and tell them how long it will take to get it ready. It is a local business through and through. The traffic near Bapod Jakat Naka can be heavy at times, especially with the trucks coming through. We have been here for a while and most of the other shop owners nearby know us. It is not a glamorous job, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a rough piece of stone turn into something smooth. We just take things one order at a time. It is just us, some granite, and the daily grind at Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar.
