Jyothi Granites

Our shop is No. 51 in Banashankari 2nd Stage. We are right near the G K Conference Hall, on the corner of 9th Main and 13th Cross. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the big industrial zones. Jyothi Granites is a small place. We don't have a massive warehouse, just enough room for the stones people usually want for their houses. The shop is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful how we display the slabs so people don't trip. We’ve been here for a while and know the neighborhood pretty well. The conference hall brings in a lot of people on weekends, so it gets a bit more crowded then. We spend our time showing people the different grains and colors in the granite. It’s a lot of talking and explaining things. The office part is just a small corner with a computer and a bunch of files. We have a tea stall just down the street where we go a few times a day. It’s a simple operation. We don't have any fancy marketing people, just us handling the customers who walk in from the street. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grit from the stone, but we try to sweep it out once a day.
