Our office is based in Parvatipuram, and we have been working on consultancy and infrastructure stuff from this location for a while. Even though our pincode says 560071, which looks like a Bangalore code, we are very much rooted in the work we do for this region. It is a mix of looking at maps, dealing with project plans, and talking to contractors. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks, computers, and a lot of files stacked up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites seeing how things are actually being built. Infrastructure is a slow business sometimes, with lots of waiting for things to move forward. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It is more about getting the job done so we can go home to our families. Some days are stressful when deadlines are close, and other days are just about routine filing. We have a small group of people who know their way around engineering and planning. We don't talk in fancy jargon if we can help it. We just explain what needs to happen for a project to work. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay busy, we keep our heads down, and we try to make sure the infrastructure projects we handle are solid and reliable for the long run.
