Manak Rattan Granites

Our shop is out at Sy. No. 36/4 in Kumbaranahalli Village, right on the Anekal Main Road. It is a bit of a drive out of the city center, but it gives us the room we need for all these granite slabs. The village area is quieter than the city, but the main road still gets plenty of trucks. We spend our days out in the yard. Granite is what we know, and we have a lot of it sitting out there. We spend a lot of time inspecting the blocks that come in from the quarries. Some have better patterns than others. We use some old machinery to help move the heavier pieces around. It is a bit messy, with water and stone dust everywhere when we are working. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. It is just a regular work yard with a small shed for us to sit in when we need a break. Most of our customers are builders or people who don't mind coming out this far to see a larger selection of stone. We just walk around with them and point out what is available in the yard. It is a long day, usually starting before the sun gets too high and finishing up when it starts to get dark. We just keep at it, day after day. There is always more stone to move and more orders to fill. We don't mind the quiet out here.
