Down here in the 1st Phase of Jigani Industrial Area, things stay pretty busy throughout the week. We’re located at No. 43/b on Road No. 3, which is right in the heart of the stone district in Anekal Tq. If you drive through here, you’ll see blocks of stone and slabs piled up everywhere you look. Our yard is just one of many, but we’ve made this spot our home. It gets really dusty when the wind picks up, and the sound of heavy machinery is just part of the background noise. We spend most of our time out in the yard checking the stock or making sure the loading is going okay. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a nice air-conditioned office all day. We’re usually wearing boots and getting our hands dirty. The traffic in Jigani can be a nightmare with the big trailers, but we’ve learned how to work around it. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the trade well. We don’t have any slick presentations or big slogans. We just show people what we have available on the ground. The weather can be tough in the summer months when the sun beats down on the stone, but we just keep at it. It’s a straightforward business, really. We get the material in, we sort it out, and we get it to where it needs to go.
