Ista Hotel(Ihhr Pvt Ltd)

Our place is the Ista Hotel, located at 1/1 Swami Vivekananda Road. We are right where the old Lido Theatre used to be, which is a landmark most people in Ulsoor still remember. It is a very busy corner of Bangalore. Working here means you are always in the middle of the action. The hotel itself is a big operation, but we try to keep things grounded. We have a lot of staff working different shifts to keep the rooms clean and the guests fed. It is a lot of hard work behind the scenes that people don't always see. The lobby is nice, but if you go into the back offices or the kitchens, it’s a whole different world of rushing around. We deal with the daily grind of city life, like traffic jams right outside our gate and the constant noise from the street. Being near the Ulsoor area, we get a mix of business travelers and people just visiting. We don't have some grand philosophy about it; we just try to make sure the beds are made and the water is hot. It is a big building to look after, and something is always needing a bit of repair or a fresh coat of paint. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now. The staff here mostly live nearby, so we know the local spots to eat after a long shift. It is just a busy hotel in a busy city.
