Independence Motors

You can find us over at 16/2-13/2 Kanakapura Road, near the KSIT Engineering College. We’re situated in the Jai Ganesh Vision building in Akurd. Running Independence Motors keeps us pretty busy most days. There’s always something to do when it comes to vehicles. The area is usually buzzing with students and people commuting, so there’s a lot of life around the shop. We aren't a high-end showroom with shiny floors and people in suits. We’re more of a hands-on place where things actually get done. The workspace is meant for fixing and looking at engines, so it’s exactly what you’d expect from a motor business. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the road change a lot over the years. We mostly deal with people from the neighborhood or students from the college who need help with their bikes or cars. We just tell it like it is when someone brings a vehicle in. No fancy talk, just honest feedback on what’s going on. We enjoy the work and the fact that we can help people get back on the road safely. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local scene here on Kanakapura Road. We just keep doing what we know best and stay busy. The traffic outside can be a lot, but we don't mind it. It’s just the way the city moves these days.
