Igneous Granite Exports is tucked away in Vijaya Nagar, specifically at No. 9 on the 2nd Cross in Subbanna Garden. It’s a residential-feeling area that’s got its own pace. Most of our work involves granite and getting it ready to go out. Being an export business means we spend a lot of time on the phone or working with shipping documents, but we still handle the physical side of things too. It’s not a massive corporate building with a lobby; it’s just our office and the space we use to manage the business. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a while now. The streets can be a bit narrow for big trucks, but we make it work. It’s a lot of back and forth with the quarries and then making sure the containers are booked. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the granite moved and keep our customers happy without any fuss. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just life here. We drink a lot of tea and keep the records straight. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy in the garden area, but we deal with it. It’s steady work. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just export granite because that is what we know how to do. The neighborhood has changed over the years but our spot remains the same.
