I D L Associates

We’ve set up our office at number 19 in Mahalaxmi Nagar, which is part of Banashankari 2nd Stage. It’s a relatively quiet area compared to the main roads, which is good because the work we do at I D L Associates requires some concentration. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a small group of us working out of this space. Most of the time, the office is filled with the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We handle a lot of paperwork and consultations for people who live in the neighborhood. Banashankari is a place where people know each other, so we get a lot of folks walking in just because they saw our name on the gate. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see what's needed. The building itself is an older one, so it stays fairly cool even in the summer without the air conditioning running all the time. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make tea several times a day. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a corporate movie. There are stacks of files on almost every surface, and the furniture has seen better days. But we know where everything is, and we get the work done for the people who come to us. We’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the street.
