Hoysala Hotel

Hoysala Hotel is situated at 44 Malleshwaram. We are right by the Athwa Gates and next to the police station. This part of Bangalore is very traditional and has stayed the same for a long time. Our building is an older one, not like the new offices you see in other parts of the city. We have a hotel where people can stay and we also serve food. Malleshwaram is a place where people like their routine, and we have many regulars who come in every day. The police station being next door means it’s a safe spot, but there is always some movement and noise outside. We open up early in the morning to get the coffee and breakfast ready. The rooms we have for guests are simple and don't have any unnecessary luxury. We have a small staff, and some of them have lived here for years. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy or the paint is peeling a little, but we fix things as they break. It’s a functional place for someone who wants to be in the heart of old Bangalore. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a big mission statement. We just run the hotel the way it has always been run, focusing on the daily tasks and making sure everyone who comes in has what they need. It is just a plain building with a lot of history in a busy neighborhood, and that is all there is to it.
