Hotels

Our office is tucked away in Yelahanka New Town at D-7, 77, S.F.S, 407. It is not a hotel itself, but it is where we handle all the work for the various hotel properties we manage. The building is a bit older, and the elevator can be a little moody sometimes, so we often just take the stairs. Inside, it is a mess of papers, schedules, and various keys. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a long time, back before the airport moved nearby and everything got so busy. Our desks are covered in sticky notes and old coffee mugs. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. Most of our work is done over the phone, talking to staff or checking on maintenance issues. It is not a polished environment by any means. We have an old ceiling fan that clicks on every rotation, but it keeps the air moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy brochures or marketing talk. We just focus on the lists we make every morning. When the afternoon sun hits the windows, it gets pretty warm, so we usually take a short break then. It is just a few of us doing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a business going. We like the neighborhood because it feels real, with all the local shops and people just going about their daily lives around us.
