Hotel

Lokesh runs this hotel at 117 on the 2nd Main, which is down F Cross in Kacharakannahalli. It is part of the St Thomas Town Post area in Bangalore, 560084. It is not one of those high-rise hotels you see in the magazines. It is a more modest building in a residential neighborhood. We have a handful of rooms and we mostly cater to people who need a simple place to sleep for a few nights. The 2nd Main is a fairly quiet street, though you still get the occasional vegetable seller shouting or dogs barking. Lokesh is usually around to see that everything is going okay. We do not have a big uniform for the staff or a massive buffet breakfast. It is more like staying at a local's place. The rooms are basic but they do the trick. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the water is running right. Kacharakannahalli is a bit out of the way from the fancy malls, which some of our guests actually like. It feels more like the real Bangalore here. We have some regulars who stay with us whenever they are in town for work. It is just a plain, honest business. We do not use fancy words to describe it. It is just a hotel on F Cross where we try to be helpful. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it stays pretty calm at night.
