Hotel Vijay Vihar

Chickpet is always crowded, and that is where you find Hotel Vijay Vihar. We are on the ground floor of the Garudachar Complex right on OTC Road. It is a busy spot. People are always moving around with bags and boxes because of all the shops nearby. It’s been this way for a long time. The building is old but it stays busy. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting in the market from early morning. We just keep things running. Most people come here because they are doing business in the market or visiting the cloth shops. It is not fancy. We have the usual rooms and the front desk is always there. Sometimes the electricity goes or it gets a bit dusty because of the construction on the road, but that is just how it is in this part of Bangalore. We don’t have a big lobby or anything like that. It is just a practical place to stay if you need to be in the middle of Chickpet. We see the same faces often, people who have been coming to this market for years. The ground floor location makes it easy to just walk in from the street. There is no lift needed for the main part. We just open the doors every day and handle whatever comes. It is a lot of work keeping up with the pace of OTC Road but we are used to it by now.
